Skin care routine

Nothing excites me more than good skincare products these days and I’m not sure if that’s good or just plain sad. However, over the past couple of months I’ve really narrowed it down to some amazing products that I use in my everyday routine!

(Cerave cleanser for Dry skin)

I use this to wash my face morning and night. It’s a very mild cleanser that does just what I need it to do. It even takes off my makeup which is a plus!

(Marine Flower Peptide Serum)

The absolute best serum for collagen production! I use to have very noticeable smile lines around my mouth and on my forehead but since I’ve been using this serum morning and night, they’re practically gone.

(Marine Flower Peptide Eye Cream)

To pair with my serum this also has dramatically improved my under eye lines. Both the serum and eye cream actually help create collagen in your skin, thus getting rid of those pesky wrinkles!

(Clear Skin Probiotic Masque)

I know I use a lot of Eminence but that is because it works so good! I mainly use the masque at night. When you put it on it has a very menthol-y feel which I LOVE! After the cooling sensation fades I wash it off with a warm rag.

(Stone Crop Whip Moisturizer)

The absolute best moisturizer for dry skin! I use this morning and night to ensure I won’t have any dryness. It is very thick and creamy and smells amazing.

(UV Physical SPF 41)

SPF is so important to put on before you leave your house! Sun damage is responsible for a lot of things like hyper-pigmentation, age spots, premature wrinkles, etc. my dermatologist actually gave me this and I’m obsessed with it.

(Mario Badescu Facial Spray)

Last but not least, my favorite facial spray! It works really great to lock in moisture and keep my face hydrated all day!

The truth on why I left my blog

Wow it has been awhile! But honestly it was a much needed break to regroup myself. When I started this blog I really wanted to focus on giving women inspiration and joy! -especially those suffering with anxiety or depression. Somewhere along my journey, I really got sucked into the beauty guru world and was only interested in selfish things (sponsorships, collaborations, parties, etc). As I indulged in all the perks bloggers have, it slowly started to feel more and more exhausting. I was noticing I wasn’t putting effort into my post and they seemed….well, lifeless.

I decided to step away for a couple of months to really regroup and decided what was best for me. Yes, I will admit sponsored post are great, but it is so easy to lose yourself in the process. I’ve come to the conclusion that my blog from now on will freely be what I want to post! I most likely will be staying away from sponsorships for a while and honestly it’s for the best….

I’m so excited to make this step and get back to what makes me happy!
